Roadrunner Ceramics presents Beginning Wheel Throwing with Lyn Woods

Learn the basics of wheel throwing this spring in a fun 12 week class for beginning students. Adult students will learn in a supportive small class setting with instruction from our teaching artist, Lyn Woods. Use the potter’s wheel to create beautiful, useful art and learn to decorate, glaze and fire your work. You’ll create one or more finished, glazed pieces.
Lyn Woods has 30+ years' experience in ceramics. She has taught numerous classes in and around San Antonio and has taken workshops from countless nationally known Ceramicists. Lyn was President of the San Antonio Potters Guild for 5 years, and earned a Certificate in Ceramics in 2007 from the Southwest School of Art.
Your class fee includes glazes, stains and firing. Clay and hand tools will be available for purchase. You may bring your own tools, but clay must be purchased through Roadrunner Ceramics to avoid kiln mishaps with unknown clay. This should be an exciting and informative class.
