Light brown where thin, dark orange where thick. Add texture by sprinkling dry wood ash over wet glaze. Very matte finish. Fire to Cone 10 in reduction.
This glaze is supplied in dry powder form. The use of a respirator and latex gloves is strongly recommended when handling and preparing dry glaze materials.
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS: Add 1% to 2% Bentonite to dry glaze mix before adding water to prevent settling. Add 12 - 16 ounces water to one pound of dry glaze, depending on your preferred consistency and application technique. Strain with an 8-mesh sieve.
