Cornwall stone is a low iron,high silca feldspar material employed as a flux in clay bodies and glazes. In clay bodies it gives strength while firing. Also used in engobes because of its adhesive properties. With
the addition of a suitable flux, Cornwall Stone can be used as a glaze. Sometimes called English Cornish Stone.
