Roadrunner Ceramics in collaboration with Explorica / WorldStrides Educational Travel is excited to offer a private ceramics-focused trip to Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka in Japan, autumn 2026. You'll enjoy guided sightseeing, including the Meiji Shrine, Akihabara Electric Town, the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and Nara Deer Park, Oshino Hakkai at the base of Mt. Fuji and more. You'll experience docent guided access to the Mashiko Museum of Ceramic Art, the Raku Museum and Shigaraki Pottery Village including one of the Six Ancient Kilns of Japan, We'll tour the Kasuga Grand Shrine and the Kinkaku-ji Golden Pavilion. You'll experience the Japanese Tea Ceremony, learn the basics of Japanese Calligraphy, try Karaoke, and take a Japanese cooking class with dinner.
What's Included: Round-trip airfare from San Antonio; all surface transport in Japan; basic medical, dental and emergency insurance during trip; centrally located three- and four- star hotels (price assumes double occupancy, single supplement available); breakfast and dinner daily; entrance to all sites and activities; local guides; tipping.
