Take your skills to the next level in a fun 12 week class for intermediate and advancing students. Adult students will learn in a supportive small class setting with instruction from our teaching artist, Lyn Woods. If you already know the basics of wheel throwing and are looking to hone and strengthen your skills with some more challenging techniques, this is the class for you. Create those pesky forms that have been eluding you. Lids, spouts, assembled forms, larger forms.
Lyn Woods has 30+ years' experience in ceramics. She has taught numerous classes in and around San Antonio and has taken workshops from countless nationally known Ceramicists. She also, was President of the San Antonio Potters Guild for 5 years. She earned a Certificate in Ceramics in 2007 from the Southwest School of Art.
Your class fee includes glazes, stains and firing. Clay and hand tools will be available for purchase. You may bring your own tools, but clay must be purchased through Roadrunner to avoid kiln mishaps with unknown clay. This should be an exciting and informative class.
