Learn the basics of ceramics this fall in a fun 4 week class for beginning students. Adult students will learn in a supportive small class setting with instruction from our teaching artist, Chris Ramos. Use the potter’s wheel to create beautiful, useful art and learn to decorate, glaze and fire your work. You’ll create one or more finished, glazed pieces.
Chris Ramos was raised in San Antonio, Texas, and graduated from the ceramics program at UTSA. With 10 years of experience in ceramics, Chris works as a clay wrangler, director of social media, kiln supervisor, and instructor at Roadrunner Ceramics in San Antonio, Texas. His work has been displayed at NCECA After School, and is available at San Antonio Potters Guild shows and Dorcal Market at Blue Star.
All materials and tools will be available for purchase on your first day of class. Firing service is included. We’re excited to offer this challenging and enriching class experience.
