Marcia Selsor has over 50 years experience working in Ceramics. She is a Professor Emerita at Montana State University-Billings where she taught from 1975-2000. In addition, she has taught workshops throughout the U.S., Canada, Spain, France, Scotland and Italy. She first fired Raku during a workshop with Paul Soldner in 1968. Her work is in public collections in 11 countries on three continents and has been featured in numerous books and magazines. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from an alternative firing master!
Snacks and drinks are included. This is a firing workshop, and attendees should bring several bisque-fired pieces to use in the raku firing processes, as well as clay saggars. Detailed information and materials, as well as bisque firing services, will be available at the store in advance of the workshop. Attendees should leave with several beautiful finished pieces. This should be an exciting and informative workshop.
