Roadrunner Ceramics presents Cone 10 Reduction Firing

Participate in a Cone 10 Reduction Firing. Adult students will submit cone 10 ceramic work for firing in cone 10 reduction. Price includes cone 10 glazes and two shelves of space in the kiln, plus the firing service. Participants must use cone 10 clay bodies and the glazes available at Roadrunner Ceramics. Kiln loading will be Monday, December 1, and all pieces must be completed and submitted by that date.
Ron Wilson is the owner of Roadrunner Ceramics, and has been doing pottery for nearly 20 years. A native San Antonian, Ron has studied portrait sculpture at Southwest School of Art, with Alicia Ponzio and Phillipe Faraut. He’s photographed and sculpted animals in Zambia with Nick Mackman. He throws functional and decorative work, as well as sculpting realistic animal and human subjects. He enjoys the process of introducing newcomers to the clay experience.
